So, I like the idea of this FB Group, but for sanity's sake, I had to leave it after being a member for just one hour. The reason? Notifications. I turned off notifications for the group, and yet my phone has still been blowing up every time someone makes a post. It was driving me nuts.

I like to think I'm pretty Facebook-savvy, but maybe I'm not. Is there a way to stop this from happening besides turning off group notifications? I thought that was all I had to do.

Maybe try turning off the notifications from your phone?

Apparently you missed something because when I turn off notifications I don't get anything

If you post/comment on a thread it will enable notifications for that thread. You have to hit "stop notifications" in said thread to not get any updates on that specific one.
